Elegant, bright ruby purple colour. Fragrant and expressive nose, rich cherry, fine pepper savouriness, light blood orange. Polished on the palate, juicy, with lots of substance and juice, grippy, vegetal tannins, still young at the moment, can still age.

Description
The Damoli Checo Amarone della Valpolicella 2018 is a rich, complex Italian red wine from Veneto, known for its deep garnet color and aromas of prune, cherry, spices, coffee, and cocoa, offering a balanced, full-bodied, and elegant experience with a long finish, pairing well with roasted meats, game, and aged cheeses. Made from Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes using the traditional appassimento method (drying grapes) and aged in oak, it's a special occasion wine reflecting the Damoli family's heritage, dedicated to founder Francesco "Checo" Damoli.
About the Winery
Damoli is situated in Negrar, near Verona, in the heart of Valpolicella Classica area. It is a small winery that was given new life a few years ago after a few decades pause as wine producers. The small farm is run by Bruno Damoli, as owner and expert in viticulture, his son, Daniele Damoli, who serves as oenologist and winemaker, and his daughter Lara Damoli, responsible for sales and marketing. Damoli produces a very limited quantity of high quality wine and has become a local Veronese favorite.
