On the palate, it is crisp and refreshing, with flavors of grapefruit, lime, and a hint of passionfruit. The acidity is bright and lively, balancing the fruit flavors and providing a clean, long finish.

About the Winery

First there was Château Clinet , an historic Grand Cru set on the precious plateau of Pomerol. In 2009, the owner Ronan and his wife decided to create a new Bordeaux wine that balanced seduction with precision, produced by Clinet in partnership with conscientious growers. This was the beginning of Ronan by Clinet , a collection available in three colors.

Well-known and well-loved. Both as a beautiful 'provincial' town, with its thriving squares, markets and restaurants; and as a pilgrimage for wine 'connoisseurs' from all over the world. Clinet – whose roots go back to Medieval times, where it gets its name from one of its oldest owners – has found its own place in history with the wines of Château Clinet , but also, since 2009, with the Ronan by Clinet collection. Inspired by the name of the present owner, Ronan by Clinet is a wine whose quality undeniably hints towards Château Clinet’s savoir-faire. But it does so in a way that doesn't take itself too seriously, inspired by the underrated potential of its lesser-known terroirs but equally by Ronan's way of life. Ronan by Clinet is the embodiment of Ronan's values: respect, courage, patience, trust, optimism and generosity.

In 2016, a new label brings Ronan to life, and with every bottle he carries an important message, based on six principles that he works and lives by. Figuring as a 'dandy' and speeding along on his push-bike, he is eager to share his vision of Bordeaux with the rest of the world.
