Vineyard Notes

We have sourced and worked with Usibelli Vineyard for 17 years. Located just 15 minutes outside of St. Helena in Pope Valley, this vineyard is ‘off the beaten path’’, in a
quieter area of Napa Valley and produces grapes which are of gold standard in the region. It is situated in the most northeastern region of Napa Valley at higher elevations than the valley floor and experience incredibly large diurnal swings, with warm days and cools nights. The vineyard is hilly with well-drained, gravely, and loamy soil. This moderates the vigor of the vines and maintains water and stress levels. Our Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the Hillside Block Vineyard 10/ Block 2.
