Vinous

The 2020 Pinot Noir The Estate Vineyards is aggressive and compact, with dried out fruit and an earthy, savory, gamy profile I don't usually associate with this wine. Dried cherry, tobacco and cedar lend nuance, but the unpolished character is too strong to look past.

Winemaker Notes

Estate grown, we select fruit from a variety of vineyard sites for this offering. The predominant clone is from Rochioli cuttings that we have in various locations; we also add a small amount of Swan clone.
