Vinous 

The 2018 Zeni Teroldego Lealbere from the Rotaliano cru is dark and intense in the glass, wafting up with masses of mineral-infused black cherry and blackberries. It's supple and ripe, without a hard edge in sight, yet also full of lively acids that balance things out nicely. Saturating wild berry fruit slowly evolves, then morphs into sour cranberry with a hint of subtle spice. This pure Teroldego ferments on the skins for ten days and then spends six months in steel tanks before bottling. It's enjoyable from start to finish.

Winemaker Notes

Vivid, bright ruby red color. This wine has intense fruity aromas and flavors of raspberries and blackberries. In the palate, it is dry, full-flavored and full-bodied, well-structured.

Pairing: Cheese soufflés, intermediate dishes; also excellent with roasted red meats, game, hard, mature cheeses.
