Winemaker Notes

Light, long and dry press before a short clarifying. Fermentation on native yeast. Aged for 12 months in oak barrels, 20% new, medium toasting.

Presents a pale gold color. Carries an intense nose that reveals scents of yellow fruits and golden brioche. Its ample and round mouthfeel lend to sappy and smoky notes. The minerality keep it fresh and long.

The 2023 growing season went quite well. Our Pernand Vergelesses White climat "Les Boutières" grows on the hillside of Aloxe Corton. Its terroir is composed of chailles (clay with flint), its exposure to the west gives the wine a delicate bouquet of fresh fruits -apples/pears- it is mineral and has a good length on the palate.
