Winery Notes

Acquired by our family in 1971, Le Clos du Roy is considered as one of the best climates in the appellation and an historic Premier Cru in Mercurey. Benefiting from a south-south-west exposure, its cool, compact clay-limestone soil composed of white marl has the advantage of warming up quickly, imparting fine tannins worthy of the great villages of the Côte de Nuits.
