Winery Notes

The white wine Con Vento Toscana Bianco IGT from the Castello del Terriccio winery represents one of the best productions of this winery. The name of the wine comes from the vineyards located on a hill exposed to all winds; the vineyards are located at an average altitude of about 100 meters and enjoy excellent exposure to the sun. To obtain this wine, Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc grapes are used. The production disciplinary of the Con Vento Toscana Bianco IGT wine provides for a careful harvest with manual selection of the bunches. We then proceed to cryo-maceration for about 12 hours and to a subsequent soft pressing. The fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, while the aging takes place in steel for about 6 months. In this way a finely structured, elegant and refined wine is obtained, which is excellent to drink.
