The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard comes from deeper, well-drained soils in the A1A Block of this larger vineyard, from 30+-year-old vines. It has wonderful purity and balance as well as full-bodied aromas and flavors of red and black fruits, new leather, savory herbs, and hints of coffee beans. It’s silky, has ripe, polished tannins, and is just a classic, impressive 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon to enjoy over the coming two decades.

Winemaker Notes

Our 2019 Beckstoffer Georges III wears its famed Rutherford roots with panache, showcasing a rich, multilayered and luxurious personality. Scents of crème de cassis, mocha, tobacco leaf, fine herbs, cedar, and violets soar from the glass. The palate pushes the experience even higher with layers of creamy ripe black and red berries, chocolate, herbs, and a stunning core of ripe fine silky tannins and acidity. Similarly to our other 2019's, this wine has all the stuffing to age gracefully for decades, yet it is so delicious and approachable now. Why wait?  7 Barrels (175 cases) produced.
