The 2020 Bellamy is composed of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. Big-shouldered with an open-knit Walla Walla expression, dark red berries waft from the glass with notions of wilted flowers and a fine mineral essence. Medium to full-bodied, the palate shows graphite notes and a juicy and succulent expression that lingers with a ripe, tannic edge and slightly boozy finish. The wine rested for 20 months in 50% new oak barrels. 6,400 bottles produced. Bravo!

The 2020 Bellamy (76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, and the rest Cabernet Franc) reveals a deep purple/ruby hue as well as gorgeous aromatics of redcurrants, cassis, spring flowers, and classy oak. These carry to a medium to full-bodied, rich, opulent Cabernet that has solid tannins, good mid-palate depth, and outstanding length on the finish.

Winemaker Notes

The name Bellamy is taken from "Belle Amie," or beautiful friend and features the object of Stanley’s affection on the label, where he can be seen on the outside of the wall, handing her a bouquet of flowers.
