The 2021 Bourgogne Blanc is showing nicely, offering up notes of white flowers mingled with pear, melon and hazelnuts. Medium-bodied, bright and precise, with a pretty core of fruit, chalky grip and a saline finish, it's based on domaine fruit supplemented by some purchased grapes. 

Vinous

The 2021 Bourgogne Blanc has a light bouquet with touches of red apple and dewy meadow. It is certainly lighter than recent vintages, as you would expect, given the growing season. The palate, slightly waxy in texture, has plenty of depth, with fleeting touches of chamomile towards the finish. Drink over the next 3-5 years. 

Winery Notes

The Coches farm is almost nine hectares of vineyards on minuscule parcels over six communes: Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Auxey-Duresses, Monthelie, and Volnay. Approximately half of their holdings are situated around their hometown of Meursault, with their parcels of Bourgogne surrounding the home and winery. Though they are best known for their Chardonnay, they also bottle six exquisite Pinot Noirs.
