94pts James Suckling

This tastes like a 1er cru white Burgundy, but for a much friendlier price. Cool and delicate with a haunting herbal freshness. Very sophisticated with excellent concentration. Fantastic graceful texture on the quite sleek and focused medium-bodied palate. Very long, clean and cool finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

92pts Jasper Morris

The vines are mostly below Corton Charlemagne in Les Marnais and Les Blanchards, hence the name. the holding was purchased 20 years ago, planted in white in 2013, with the first vintage 2017, rapidly becoming a firm Faiveley favourite. Pale in colour, lovely tension on the nose, just the perfect quality gulping white Burgundy. White fruit with a lemon citrus note, fresh, intense and just plain delicious. Drink from 2025-2028

90pts Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

Aromas of citrus zest, white flowers and oyster shell introduce the 2022 Ladoix Les Marnes Blanches, a medium-bodied, taut and chalky wine with a tangy spine of acidity and a saline finish. It's one of the insider's choices chez Faiveley. Jérôme Flous and his team have produced another compelling range of 2022s, and it's hardly surprising, given the high level of vineyard management chez Faiveley or the skill and precision brought to bear in the winery and the cellar. As is often the case up and down the Côte d'Or, the style is more delicate and sensual than was the case in 2020, and the wines seem set to offer broad drinking windows.

Burghound

Note: the name, which means white marl, is a play on words as it's a combination of the vineyards of Les Marnées and La Blancharde. Subtle but not imperceptible wood frames the vaguely exotic nose of white peach, spiced pear and orange peel. The finer and equally energetic medium weight flavors also exude even minerality on the balanced and youthfully austere finale that is dry but not quite as dry as the Clos Rochette. Lovely for what this is and worth considering.*Burghound Outstanding Top Value!*
