Tatsing Notes

Dark ripe fruit, vivid freshness plus fine tannins make varietal characteristics of this Teran. It has a characteristic purple color and smells of ripe black cherries and forest fruits. Complex, but not complicated, it is perfectly paired with barbeque and blue fish.

Winemaker Notes

This one shows medium deep, violet colour a bit less intense of what we usually get from a typical Teran. Very open, youthful on the nose, showing a myriad of crushed red and black fruits such as redberries, raspberries, black cherries, and forest fruits with a nice spicy layer such as black pepper. With a bit of time gentle notes of chocolate and cacao appear. There is a touch of forest floor notes. Very inviting.

Dry on the palate, with higher acidity levels so typical of Teran, giving it crispiness and vibrancy. There seems to be a touch more tannins than usually, giving it perhaps a slightly longer live expectance. Medium bodied. In a word, a fine crafted modern style of Teran from Istria which features drinkability, freshness, fruitiness, and liveliness. A lovely wine by glass.

This is a perfect companion with grilled meet, pasta hard and soft cheeses. Then again, it is rather universal food companion and can be server to a wide variety of dishes.
