Rich and nuanced but still crisply fresh, the Clos du Moulin Bourgogne from Bouzereau has ripe pear and nectarine fruit aromas, with notes of butter and spice that hint at its origins within the village of Meursault. The texture is gratifyingly dense but not heavy, and there is impressive length for a wine at this level. Fruit comes from 1ha of vines below Les Chevalières. This is a super Bourgogne, worth the effort to seek out.(CC)
Burghound
This is aromatically similar to the regular cuvée but with just a bit more floral influence. There is good verve to the utterly delicious and slightly finer flavors that conclude in a more compact and youthfully austere finale. This should repay 2 to 3 years of keeping and is also very good for its level.Burghound Outstanding Top Value!

Pale to mid lemon. This is finer and fresher on the nose, better contained, and with some tension, without losing the richness of the fruit of the vintage ripe citrus. Drink from 2026-2029. Tasted Oct 2024.
Vinous
From a single parcel in Meursault, the 2023 Bourgogne Côte d'Or Le Clos du Moulin is a little more backward than the regular cuvée at this moment in time. The palate is tensile on the entry with a slightly waxy texture, hints of tropical fruit, pineapple and passion fruit plus a little viscosity on the finish. Drink over three to five years.(NM)
