Winemaker Notes

Cornas “Les Grandes Terrasses” owes its name to the extremely steep terraces supported by small walls overlooking the Rhône Valley.  Les Grandes Terrasses are the small parcels supported by dry stone walls where Syrah grapes produce rich, full-bodied wines with notes of black berriers and licorice.  These parcels are in the heart of very well exposed granitic slopes of the village of Cornas.
