This Muscadet is a seriously delicious version of the variety, made in the traditional method with extended time 'sur-lie' (on lees) for eight months with regular stirring to provide more mid-palate texture, moreish salinity and creamy chew.
Blend: 100% Melon de Bourgogne from the Loire Valley.
Tasting Notes
It fills the mouth with suspicions of honeysuckle and pulpy stone fruits, all while maintaining classic notes of iodine and sea breeze that make this the vinous equivalent of tidepooling.
This Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie is a match made in heaven for all matter of shellfish and light seafood dishes.
