Winemaker Notes

This is an archetypal chardonnay from the Macon Villages in the south of Burgundy that uses different terroirs to combine minerality, delicacy and fruit expression. The soils here have less limestone and more clay. It is here that you really can find bargains in white Burgundy. This wine has depth, intensity and so much flavour. It’s fresh and intense with glorious notes of zesty citrus, delicate white flowers and honey.
