Domaine Serene Yamhill Cuvee Pinot Noir 2022 - 750ml
Domaine Serene Yamhill Cuvee Pinot Noir 2022 - 750ml
97pts Decanter
A masterstroke of Pinot Noir making! Deftly placed crunchy red cherry and raspberry fruit with a generosity of sweet oaky spice which unfurls and weaves around the supple tannins and texture, with bristling acidity and a lengthy finish.
93pts James Suckling
Vivid, fresh red fruit aromas and charming, bright strawberry flavors distinguish this medium-bodied wine that’s on the lighter end of the scale for Domaine Serene. Floral, cedar and cinnamon aromas lead to nicely ripe berries and cherries on the palate backed by medium tannins. Drink now or hold.
92pts Vinous
The 2022 Pinot Noir Yamhill Cuvée is spicy in the glass, with a collage of rosy florals and cedary spice that gives way to dried strawberries. Soft textures sweep across the palate, carrying ripe red and black fruits elevated by a tactile tinge of minerals and the slightest hint of citrus. The finish is long and staining, leaving fine-grained tannins and a violet floral resonance.

About the Winery
Domaine Serene, nestled in Oregon’s prestigious Dundee Hills AVA, is a celebrated luxury winery founded in 1989 by Grace and Ken Evenstad. Inspired by their passion for Burgundy, they purchased a 42‑acre hilltop and began crafting world‑class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with their inaugural 1990 Reserve earning high praise from Robert Parker. The estate features a striking, five‑level gravity‑flow winery built in 2001 for Pinot Noir and later, Oregon’s first dedicated white‑wine facility for Chardonnay and sparkling wine. Domaine Serene now operates multiple estate vineyards across the Willamette Valley and has garnered international acclaim—most notably earning “World’s Most Awarded Winery” at the 2020 Decanter World Wine Awards, where it claimed Best in Show for its 2016 Mark Bradford Pinot Noir among 23 medals. In 2015, the Evenstads extended their footprint globally by becoming the first Oregon vintners to acquire a Burgundy estate—Château de la Crée in Côte d’Or—marking a bold expansion of their winemaking vision.
