Purity, vibranty and freshness in this unpretentious blend of Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Sousão and old field blends. Crunchy red and blue fruit mingle on the palate supported by vibrant acid and zesty tannins. So drinkable but never simple, with alluring layer of fruit, herbs and sotobosque. A bottle that elevates the 'everyday drinking' concept to a new level.

Winery Notes

Aroma
Concentrated, with mature red fruit aromas, hints of violets and "esteva" (a local Portuguese resinous bush).

Taste
Good structure with mature round tannins and a persistent finish.

Vinification
80% of the grapes come from vineyards planted in the 90's and 20% from older vineyards, between 60 and 100 years old. The grapes ferment in 5 and 10 ton stainless steel vats, totally destemmed. Fermentation lasts for one week between 23ºand 25ºC with mechanical remontage.

Ageing
90% for 8 months in stainless steel tanks and 30% in 225 litre used French Oak barrels (3rd and 4th use).
