Picked on October 18, the 2021 Riesling In der Wand is from an extremely steep vineyard in Dürnstein and opens with a concentrated, perfectly ripe, intense and spicy bouquet with notes of crushed black rocks, lush fruits and fine honey notes. Lush and savory on the palate, this is an intense, fleshy, piquant and crystalline Riesling with a long and stimulating finish, yet it does not have the structural intensity of the Pfaffenberg.
