A Beaujolais with some structure. The Régnié village is dominated by pink granite soils and is located northwest of Morgon which perhaps explains the richer tannin although this wine is still very much Gamay in its accessibility.

Winery Notes

Historic residence, Château du Basty arrived in the family in 1482. The Varenards, Varenard de Billy, Rony and Perroud family settled there successively. This domaine, with its amazing past, offers wines elaborated with passion and precision, refering to a precious expertise of 15 generations. Thanks to that they are able to express timelessness while showing the Terroir.
