Produced by the Wagner Family of Wines, Caymus 2021 Zinfandel is a favorite of late Caymus co-founder Charlie Wagner Sr. The wine is big, bold and full-bodied with crushed raspberry, red berry, strawberry, underbrush, smoky herbs, dark and pepper spice flavours vibrant, fresh, generous and long on the palate. Pour with burgers and ribs from the grill or hard cheeses.

A bold yet polished California Zinfandel honoring Charlie Wagner Sr.'s favorite varietal. Bursting with ripe cherry, pomegranate, baking spice, and cocoa notes, this full-bodied red delivers rich fruit, silky texture, and a long, oak-kissed finish that makes it equally suited for hearty meals or sipping on its own.

Although Caymus is best known for Cabernet Sauvignon, we also produce a small amount of Zinfandel, which was a favorite of late Caymus co-founder Charlie Wagner Sr. It is a varietal that can produce amazing wines across California, and our full-bodied version is perfect for rich foods and hearty cheeses, but also enjoyed with pizza and BBQ.
