92pts Wine Spectator
Polished and refined, with nuanced raspberry and pomegranate flavors that draw in black tea and orange blossom accents and build toward medium-grain tannins. Drink now through 2028. 400 cases made. - TF
91pts Vinous
Ruby-red. Ripe dark berries, cherry, candied flowers and a hint of licorice on the deeply perfumed nose. Smooth and open-knit, offering plush bitter cherry and black raspberry flavors that become sweeter as the wine stretches out. On the weighty side, in the style of the vintage, but there's good energy here. Closes broad and supple, with a clinging cherry note and very good, gently tannic persistence.-- Josh Raynolds
91pts Wine Enthusiast
This focused, firmly tannic, young wine offers black cherry, streaks of licorice, black olive and a toasty coffee tone. It's well-built by polished tannins that will soften up further over the next four or five years. Drink through 2025. PAUL GREGUTT
Winemaker Notes
A blend of grapes from the Chehalem Mountains, Ribbon Ridge, and our home in the Eola-Amity Hills. The result is a complex mix of marion berry and raspberry, adding cherry and dark spice as it opens up. Long and complex, and just starting to strut its stuff. Will continue to evolve and gain richness for many years, or however long your patience allows.
