The wine is powerful in the mouth, flavourful, meaty and well structured. Endowed with ripe, sweet and high-quality tannins that give it breadth and volume and fill the palate. Bursting with the aromas of ripe fruit in the middle and integrated with the flavour of exquisite wood. Long persistent finish, marked by hints of liquor-infused cherries.
The perfect accompaniment to red meat, such as veal tenderloin with mustard in red wine. It also goes perfectly with feathered game dishes such as stewed squab with mushrooms and truffles or duck with blueberry sauce.
