Winemaker Notes

Tasting reveals a brilliant pale yellow color. Its intense nose offers aromas of white peach and vanilla. The mouthfeel is full and fresh, offering notes of honey, acacia and fresh almond. The finish is minerally and persistent.

The 2023 growing season progressed without incident. The Aloxe Corton white is very rare. Exposed to the south it shows notes of exotic fruits, white flowers. Its texture is creamy and onctuous. It is a complex and refined white wine.

You will enjoy it with fish, crab but also with white meats.To be enjoyed now if you want purity and freshness or 5 years if you seek more complexity.

This wine is very rare and much thought after. There are 295 acres of Aloxe-Corton red appellation and only 2.1/2 acre of white Aloxe-Corton. Our Domain has the chance to be one of the 4 producers to own a parcel of this great white wine.

18 year old vines. The making is light, long and dry press before a short clarifying. Fermentation on native yeast. Aged for 12 months in oak barrels on fine lees, 50% new barrels medium toast.
