On this aromatic battlefield, the sweetness of blueberries meets the earthy funk of blackberry tea and fennel fronds. A juicy bit of acidity and velvety tannins provide more than adequate support for the medium-bodied wine's flavors of black cherry, cinnamon rolls and cedar. I'd pair this wine with a steak and call it a good night.

Ruby, with a hint of garnet. Aromas: Cherry, vanilla, baking spices (cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg), and graphite. Flavors: Cherry cola, blackberry, blueberry, and tobacco. Structure: Lots of acid at the beginning. Soft silky mid-palate. Elegant tannins on the finish.
