Gooseberries, nectarines, lemon zest, guava, exotic herbs and sour cream on the nose, following through to a concentrated, substantial palate. This is a medium-to full-bodied sauvignon blanc with harmonious oak creaminess. Still pure and bright with a long, fresh and creamy finish.

Fine, focused and fresh, the 2021 Clara Sauvignon Blanc displays a delightful mineral essence with notions of oak spice and Meyer lemon zest. Light to medium-bodied, the palate offers bright acidity that drives the expression with zesty lemon and lime flavors before offering a dusty floral lift over the spicy, citrus-laced finish. Nicely done, I want more.

Light and bright in appearance, the nose abounds with aromas of white peach, jasmine blossom and oak spice. The palate is full bodied and rich, balanced by a fresh salinity and acidity. Elegant and expressive, the wine concludes with a long fresh citrus finish.
