Tasting Notes

Very delicate, this wine develops flowers aromas and is very harmonious in mouth. To taste at about 10- 12°C , it goes perfectly for aperitive and with fish or
seafoods without forgetting the famous Crottin de Chavignol.

Winemaker's Notes

The White Sancerre is issued from Sauvignon grapes, the only vineyard grape-variety. Cultivated on chalky, chalky-clay and flint soils, the vines are aged
about 25 years.

Full of finesse, this wine shows fruity (citrus) aromas, floral (white flowers) with a touch of minerality.

About the Winery

Roland Tessier took control of his father and father in-law's vineyards in 1972. This 3rd generation estate is situated just outside of the medieval town of Sancerre. Soils are dominated with Oxfordian Limestone (Griottes & Caillottes), and a healthy dose of Silex. Sons Rudolph and Florent now steer this beautiful estate of 11 hectares.
