93pts Wine Spectator
Sleek and minerally, this is satiny on the palate, with racy drive to the flavors of macerated raspberry, pomegranate puree, almond financier and pickled ginger. A zesty hint of blood orange granita lingers on the finish. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Drink now through 2029.
92pts James Suckling
Excellent freshness to this delicately fruity and refreshing rosé Champagne. Notes of pomegranate, grapefruits, pink-berry fruit and a touch of fresh croissant. Lively and very drinkable. 45% pinot noir, 30% chardonnay and 25% meunier, including 14% red wine. Based on the 2021 vintage, with around 37% reserve wines. Drink now.
91pts Wine Enthusiast
Like all the current bottlings of Ruinart, this Champagne has a fine balance between fine fruit and maturity. This wine has toast, touches of red fruits and citrus. It is ready to drink.
91pts Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The latest rendition of Ruinart’s NV Brut Rosé evokes aromas of blood orange, red berries, flowers and pastry. Medium to full-bodied, round and supple, it’s elegant with a fleshy core of fruit, bright acids and a long, delicate finish. There’s no reason to wait.
Tasting Notes
Ruinart Rosé reveals coral and rosewood hues. First impressions reveal intense aromas of tropical fruit such as pomegranate, lychee and guava, complemented by floral essences of rose and freshly picked red berries. Secondary aromas include hints of warm spices such as tonka bean and nutmeg. This cuvée’s fresh character is combined with a refined structure and delicate roundness. The elegant finish provides notes of peppermint and pink grapefruit.
Resident Chef Valérie Radou and Cellar Master Frédéric Panaïotis recommend pairing this champagne with oily fish and shellfish. It is also suitable for pairing with charcuterie and more powerful meats like duck. Discover their Duck and Grapefruit Salad recipe.
About the Bubbles
Ruinart Rosé is a harmonious champagne that balances the aromatic freshness of Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims chardonnay with the fruitiness of Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne pinot noir.
A key element to Ruinart's new serving ritual is the eco-designed case, made of 99% paper and resistant to all types of service, including humidity. Suitable for long storage in the refrigerator, the case also retains its integrity after several hours in a bucket filled with ice.
About the Winery
Founded in 1729, Ruinart is the first established champagne house in the world, born from the ambition of Dom Ruinart’s true enlightened mind. His vision made him perceive before anyone else the potential of sparkling wines from the Champagne region. Each of Ruinart’s cuvées bears the distinctive signature of Chardonnay, the House’s emblematic grape variety. Elegance, refinement, purity, light and distinctive taste make Ruinart a timeless and modern icon.
Ruinart Blanc de Blancs is the emblem of the House, and it is the perfect expression of the Ruinart taste. It is comprised of 100% Chardonnay grapes grown primarily with Premiers Crus from the Côte de Blancs and Montagne de Reims terroirs, both prized for their aromatic finesse.
