Here’s a floral malbec that holds its freshness all the way through. At four years of age, it has developed a creamy blackberry core. It grows at a vineyard 4,430 feet above sea level. There’s something wild about it that dials back that richness, brambly and foresty, and a hint of dark cocoa at the end of its impressive length.

Winemaker Notes

Tapiz is Spanish for “tapestry,” as in the tapestry between the wine's high-altitude fruit and oak. The wine is called Black Tears because of the amazing color intensity. Intense blue and black fruits that stain your glass with its black tears. Concentrated and intense yet elegant and smooth.
