The 2023 Etna Rosso Moganazzi is a medium red hue and really takes things up a notch with notes of crushed raspberries, strawberries, scorched earth, fresh thyme, cedar, and pressed flowers. It’s refined in texture, with ripe tannins and a chalky texture, with mineral, salty notes lingering on the finish. It’s a lovely wine that should only improve in another few years, although it sure has a lot of elegance now.

A fresh, well-structured red, with a savory thread of sweet tobacco and chalky-edged tannins enmeshed with flavors of wild strawberry and black raspberry fruit, smoked paprika and red licorice, plus a tarry mineral underpinning. Shows good length and focus.

This wine displays an intense ruby color with a complex, full-bodied nose of black fruits and rich floral notes. The palate is ample and velvety with creamy persistence and a touch of spice, pairing beautifully with meat and seasoned cheeses.
