Loganberry compote and creme de violette all combine on the palate, with stony soils, mocha and shades of Black Forest cake. Opulent, deep and chocolaty, rich in dark fruit, baking spice and melted chocolate nuances. Sourced from the east side of Oakville at a higher elevation than the valley floor. Dried cherries, dark plums and creme de cassis on fine-grained tannins. Full-bodied. Drinkable now, but best after 2028.
