92pts The Wine Independent
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon bursts with bombastic notes of plum preserves, warm cassis, and chocolate-covered cherries followed by hints of lavender and Indian spices. Big, concentrated, and full-on full-bodied, the palate is packed with black fruit preserves and chewy tannins, finishing long and spicy.
91pts Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Lewis's 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is dark hued and seemingly impenetrable to light. Black cherries and plums mark the nose of this full-bodied wine. It's rich, thick, even almost a touch oily, supple and super ripe yet not raisined and tinged with mocha and dark chocolate on the lingering, velvety finish. It's a statement-making style that some will likely detest, while others will adore.
90pts James Suckling
Sweet cherries, cassis, warm herbs, vanilla and sweet spices on the nose. It’s full-bodied with chalky tannins. Rich and creamy, with loads of sweet berries and sweet spices on the palate and onto the dense finish.
