The 2020 Duo de Conseillante is a lovely second wine. Vibrant, floral and juicy the Duo is everything a second wine should be. Bright red and blue fruit and lavender are nicely delineated in this mid-weight, nuanced Pomerol. This is an especially easygoing style. Drink it over the next decade.

Winemaker's Notes

This is the second wine of Ch. La Conseillante and was first made in 2007. This vintage is full of fruit, earth and spices and while it drinks well in its youth, could easily be held a few years. A charming second wine that works well at the table.
