The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Terrunyo from Pirque, Maipo Alto, spent 17 months in French barrels. Garnet red in the glass. The expressive aromas include black currant, sour cherry and amaretti and a barely discernible trace of pepper. The volume, terse texture and soft tannins tip the scales in favor of the deliciously taut and lingering finish.

Winemaker Notes

Bright, deep red in color. Very expressive on the nose with aromas of red fruits, blackcurrants, and blueberries, as well as mineral notes such as pencil lead. Well-structured and balanced on the palate with excellent density, fresh acidity, and silky tannins, with subtle notes of vanilla, graphite and loam on the lingering finish.
