Winemaker Notes

The Baron D’Auvergne Champagne house, nestled in Bouzy, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims region, has a history dating back several centuries. They are a small negotiant house, growing and buying grapes. Bouzy is a Grand Cru village, one of the highest-rated vineyards in Champagne, and well known for the quality of its Pinot Noir grapes, perfect for the creation of this cuvee.

A Blanc de Blancs Champagne, 100% Grand Cru Chardonnay. A clever blend of Chardonnay Grand Cru from 2 crus (terroir) for this seductive and classic blanc de blancs, velvety and fruity, aromas of lemongrass tea, pear jam, hazelnut with a secondary note of spoon biscuit.

The mouth is generous, mature notes of fruit, a slight peppery sensation is released in the discreet length in the mouth.
