Outperforming the 2023 I tasted last year, the 2024 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc is a delight. Composed of 40% Grenache Blanc (raised in concrete eggs), 30% Clairette and 30% Roussanne, it opens with pronounced yellow apple, lemon flesh and honeysuckle. Medium- to full-bodied and complex, the 2024 delivers a concentrated palate energized by a bright lift that carries through to the mineral resolution with a touch of wet stone. This was vinified from certified organic grapes.

Winemaker Notes

The nose is a basket of fruits with yellow and white flesh, where peach and exotic fruits dominate. A few notes of vanilla and brioche add a touch of extra fat. The richness of its mouth unfolds in a long sarabande of persistent aromas.

This blend is an ideal companion to a serving of Fillet of St. Pierre fish cooked on the skin.
