The 2021 Audacious is an interesting mix of 35% Grenache, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Carignan, and 18% Syrah that spent 22 months in 58% new French oak. Its deep plum hue gives way to full-bodied aromas and flavors of red and black fruits, leather, peppery herbs, and chalky minerality. It's balanced, has a terrific mid-palate, ripe yet building tannins, and a great finish. It's another seriously good wine from this team that has so much to love. Drink these over the coming 10-12+ years.

The 2021 Audacious is a blend of 35% Grenache, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Carignan and 18% Syrah matured for 22 months in 58% new French oak. Blueberry candy and maraschino cherry burst from the glass, accented by tones of blood orange and Angostura bitters. The full-bodied palate derives its power from concentrated layers of fruit, yet it has a weightless structure of chalky tannins and focused acidity. It has a very long, latent finish and will benefit from several years in bottle. 845 cases will be released in August of 2024.

It is planted in high density, small-lot blocks. The extreme slopes, limestone soils, and multiple aspects create the distinct canvas and palette from which we work. The sharp focus is making world class wines that are distinct to our site with inspirations from the Rhone and Priorat in particular. Under the deft craftmanship of Philipp Pfunder, Law has become recognized for beautifully structured and powerful wines that are very limited in production.
