91pts Falstaff
90pts James Suckling
Ripe blackberry fruit and quite a full body, but this is less structured than some from this appellation. Well made and well balanced with quite a gentle finish that makes it appealing right now. Why wait?
Decanter
An enjoyable wine with gently spiced, ripe red fruits and soft tannins that are well defined but not intrusive. There's no need to wait too long to get going on this, and it has the same depth of flavour found in the 2016, although a little less elegant in this vintage. Drinking Window 2019 - 2034

The 2015 Château Ducluzeau (Mostly Merlot with 15% Petit Verdot and a splash of Cabernet Sauvignon) is rock-solid, offering perfumed notes of strawberry and plum fruits, sappy flowers, and fruitcake-like nuances. Forward, delicious, and elegant, it’s an impressive wine from an appellation that rarely delivers the goods.
Vinous
The 2015 Ducluzeau is an attractive, fruity wine to drink now and over the next few years, while the red berry, and plum fruit remains fresh. This is a pleasant wine from Bruno Borie's Listrac property.
Wine Enthusiast
Firm tannins and ripe fruit give this wine a generous character. With acidity to balance, it offers tannins, forward fruit and an open texture. Not a wine for long aging, this will be ready from 2020.
Tasting Notes
Chateau Ducluzeau has a beautiful purple color, with ruby lights, and a charming, elegant bouquet. On the palate, the wine expresses suppleness and distinction.
