94pts Jeb Dunnuck
A step up, the 2016 Barolo Bussia Riserva has a fabulous nose of ripe cherries, dried rose petals, spice, white truffle, and loamy earth. It's balanced, medium-bodied, has fine tannins, flawless balance, and just a nuanced, seamless profile.
91pts Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler
Deep ruby red in colour. On the nose there are strong aromas of barrel, rum steeped fruit, blackberry and malt. On the palate it shows with creamy fruit, fine mint tones, powerful, overall unfortunately strongly marked by the use of oak, remains drying.
