The Peay West Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is a true panoramic view of the estate’s terroir and the vintage itself. Sourced mainly from Peay’s estate blocks, with just 5% coming from the slightly warmer Richardson Vineyard next door, this is the winery’s biggest-production Pinot - though at 1,500 cases, it’s still far from mass-produced. The 2022 vintage is a wine with energy and depth, which is classic Peay, delivering a nose that balances delicate florals and bright red berries with a whisper of coastal salinity. The palate is full of tart red fruit like cranberries and pomegranate, with some citrusy mid-palate reminiscent of blood oranges and a pinch of spice for good measure. The structure is firm yet graceful, carrying everything through to a long, truly pleasant finish.

Fresh and filigreed in feel, with pinpoint damson plum and blood orange fruit that stays trim and pure through the mineral- and rooibos tea–tinged finish.
