Lovely ripe pinot character with lightly cooked strawberries, blueberries, dried flowers and sandalwood. Perfumed. Medium-bodied with fine tannins that are integrated. Delicious finish. A mix of clones, including Pommard and various Dijon clones. Delicious now, but better in two or three years.

Winemaker Notes

Medium bodied with medium plus acidity. Dry on the palate with raspberries, bing cherries, red currants, earth, light wood, spices, coffee and peppercorn. Spicy finish with soft tannins and tangy cranberries. This is a very tasty Single Vineyard Pinot Noir from Russian River Valley in California.

Would pair very well with a seared duck breast with a sour cherry gastrique.
