About the Vineyard

The "little one" in the name is no coincidence: viticulture on a miniature scale, yet so precious for our portfolio of vineyard sites. This single-owner vineyard site covers a mere 2,677 square meters. Steep, almost monumental, the terraces rise from the banks of the Moselle River towards the sky. Extreme heat and intense sunlight are foreign to this "little one." The eastern exposure is particularly advantageous in the face of climate change. Ungrafted Riesling vines dating back to the 1930s produce delicate, spicy wines that radiate an inner peace.
