It's pretty exciting to come across a Pinot Blanc that may trace its roots back to Domaine Henri Gouges in Nuits-Saint-Georges. This year's vintage is packed with aromas and flavors of apricot jam, lemon zest, passion fruit and touches of saline and wet rocks. All of that goodness is backed by enough acidity to wake your palate right up. 

Winemaker Notes

This Pinot Blanc is effusive and complex, starting off with floral apple and pear aromas, adding honeydew and cardamom on the palate, and a wet stone salinity as the finish lingers. As it opens up it adds a tropical streak, like green mangoes or a hint of guava, but the acidity keeps it fresh and lively. This has both the serious, wine-geek complexity for your nerdy friends and the flat-out yumminess for whoever else drops by.
