Winemakers Notes

Although Caymus is best known for Cabernet Sauvignon, we also produce a small amount of Zinfandel, which was a favorite of late Caymus co-founder Charlie Wagner Sr. It is a varietal that can produce amazing wines across California, and our full-bodied version is perfect for rich foods and hearty cheeses, but also enjoyed with pizza and BBQ.
