The 2019 Pinot Noir Two Brothers was vinified with 18% whole clusters and matured for 17 months in 23% new oak. It has earthy scents of forest floor, mushrooms, tobacco and woodsmoke with a core of cranberry and red cherry. The medium-bodied palate is soft and fresh with earthy fruit and a spicy finish. 724 cases produced.

The 2019 Pinot Noir Two Brothers is a very pretty, juicy wine. It offers lovely forward fruit character, but in the ethereal, understated style that is the signature for this bottling. Crushed flowers, sweet red berry fruit, orange peel, dried herbs and spice all grace this inviting, mid-weight Pinot. The 25% whole clusters are nicely integrated.

Mature, with sous-bois, sandalwood and tea notes leading the way for gently mulled raspberry and damson plum flavors. The silky, caressing finish is a little shy on energy but has charm. Drink now. 750 cases made.

The 2019 Two Brothers has a mid-palate supported by Devoto Vineyard fruit with its signature full, fleshy mouthfeel. Earthy and herbal aromas of green conifer needles, peat moss, and potter’s clay tango with notes of juicy rhubarb, black cherry, and cola spices. This vintage is very fresh with a sexy finish.

About the Wine

Named after siblings Tripp and Cushing Donelan, the Two Brothers Pinot Noir has become a fan favorite of our customers. It’s an extremely versatile wine. For one, it’s ready to drink upon release, but will also age beautifully for years if you throw a few bottles in your cellar. Our preferred food pairing with the Two Bros is always a game bird. Turkey, wings, quail, dove, or duck recipes are all super complimentary with this Pinot Noir’s dark fruit, spice, and freshness. We tend to recommend this wine for Thanksgiving every year.
