The El Enemigo Syrah Viognier is a unique Argentine interpretation of Côte Rôtie. A blend of Syrah (92%) and Viognier (8%) the grapes were co-fermented and then matured for 16 months in a combination of foudres (50%), stainless steel tanks (25%), and oak barrels (25%), adding further complexity and delicate nuance to the wine. The El Enemigo Syrah Viognier is a refined and expressive wine with an enchanting aromatic profile of violet, blackberry and hints of pepper, clove and exotic spice. The palate is silky and balanced, with polished tannins and a medium-bodied structure that balances power and finesse through to a creamy, peppery finish.
