Ripe blackberry aromas are reduced at first and then expand on a saturated nose. Ripeness and saturation are continued themes on the palate, while this tastes of lush berry fruits, cassis and chocolaty oak. While this is a bit heady and adheres to the familiar Mendoza style, it’s a highly satisfying Malbec at a good price.

The 2018 Fabre Montmayou Reserva Malbec was produced with fruit from Luján de Cuyo and produced in a similar way as the Viñalba range. There is a little more ripeness here with notes of black fruit and sweet spices. The palate is medium-bodied with some dusty tannins, and there's a dry, serious finish.
Deep red colour with violet tones. Very intense bouquet with red cherry fruit and spices. Complex and well-balanced with vanilla and chocolate notes from the oak. A modern style wine, with sweet silky tannins. Great with all kind of grilled meats, games and cheeses.
