Winemaker's Tasting Profile
Visual: The wine displays a deep ruby-to-dark garnet color in the glass.
Aromas: The nose is layered with dense, ripe aromas of dark chocolate-dipped berries, black currants, and subtle mocha or baking spices
Palate: Described as "simply luxurious" and broad across the palate. It leads with prominent flavors of blackberry pie, dark plums, and concentrated fruit compote.
Finish & Tannins: The finish is long and persistent, held together by lush, silky, textural tannins that coat the mouth while maintaining a bright, mouthwatering vibrancy.
Sourcing & Composition
The Terroir: Unlike Fantesca’s estate-grown Spring Mountain wines, the fruit for the All Great Things series is sourced from premium vineyards on the eastern slopes of Napa Valley. This region gives the blend a riper, more powerful expression due to increased afternoon sun exposure.
The Blend: It is a Cabernet Sauvignon-focused blend, which varies slightly by vintage but typically incorporates small percentages of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, or Petit Verdot to round out the mid-palate.
