Chidaine, renowned for his exceptional Chenin Blancs, brings his hand to red winemaking with the Touraine Rouge. François Chidaine established his domaine in Montlouis-sur-Loire in 1989 and has become closely associated with biodynamic viticulture in the Loire Valley. This 2023 Touraine Rouge highlights the red-wine side of a producer best known internationally for Chenin Blanc from Montlouis-sur-Loire and Vouvray.

This blend comprises equal parts Cabernet Franc, Côt (Malbec), and Pineau d’Aunis, sourced from biodynamically farmed estate vineyards situated just north of the Cher River near Montrichard and Chissay-en-Touraine.
